At Tales and Trails, each child is welcomed, valued and celebrated for who they are.  Our sessions are carefully planned around nature themes and we make sure that children’s curiosity to lead the way. All our activities support the emotional, intellectual, physical and social development of children, teaching them resilience, determination, perseverance and communication skills. Life values which are so often being missed or rushed through in a standard educational setting.

These sessions are for children who are walking confidently to 4 years old and are held at the Long Spinney (Wing).

We meet at our basecamp in the Long Spinney, Wing (LU7 0TG).

An email will be send out 1-2 weeks before the first session, with all details on how to get there and appropriate wear. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. 

We run the following sessions every week:

Monday 10 – 11.15am (4 spaces left)

Wednesday 10 – 11.15am Fully booked

Friday 10 – 11.15am Fully booked

Booking for the next half term (April/May) is now open.  Please click here to book. Once the booking form is submitted you will receive an email with payment details. Please note that this is NOT an automated system so don’t worry if you don’t get confirmation straight away. I will aim to respond within 2 days. Details:

• 6 weeks half term starting w/c 15th of April (We are aware some schools have Teacher training day on the 15th so you are welcome to bring older siblings to the first session). Please note that, due to a bank holiday (6th May), the Monday group will only have 5 sessions this coming half-term.
• Please only register if you are genuinely thinking of joining us this April.
• Places are limited to 12 children and their grown-ups to keep the sessions nurturing.
• Younger siblings are welcome. The paths are mostly accessible in buggies/prams. Slings are a great idea too.
• Cost is £60 for a 6 weeks term or £108 for two siblings (Monday session will be £50 for one child or £90 for two siblings).
• If you cannot make one session, you are welcome to join another session that week. Just let Florence know at the time.
• The form is not automatic so you will be informed later on to confirm whether you got a space. Payment will then be required to secure your booking.
• If you didn’t get a space, you are placed on a waiting list and next in line should someone not secure their booking.
