Life can be so busy. Days, weeks, months and even years seem to just disappear. ![]()
I remember when my eldest turned 10 years old (3 years ago now!). I remember thinking "How have I been a parent for a decade already? How???" It hit me that our children are really in our care for a very short chapter of our life. This filled me with so many emotions. ![]()

At the end, the answer was and always is Presence. If it was going to be for just a glimpse, then I would try my hardest to be truly present with them. It's hard and requires constant awareness of when we are caught up in the drama of the past or worried of the future. ![]()
Let's be reasonable and have reasonable expectations about this. Creating precious pockets of time where we are TRULY present with them...little and often. ![]()
At Tales and Trails, time seems to slow down in the most beautiful way.![]()
Inviting true presence... it's like you step into another dimension as you take your first step into the woods. ![]()
